Since the resident lawyers don't want to stop beating around the bush and help show us where the nut is, here's an elegant sentiment that I wood agree with. Comments in () are mine.

The main problem with this year's presidential election has to do with the method of voting in several places in America--specifically the state of Florida--and two scientific terms; precision and accuracy. Laying aside politics for the moment, what happened in Florida is simply a case of the measuring device, the ballot counting machines, having an inherent margin of error larger than the difference in the votes received by the two presidential candidates. So what do we do about it? Sorry, Al, there's not a whole lot we can do about it this year. Better luck next time (shithead).
