It looks like a lot of individual investor backs have been broken with the NAZ correction so far, however many mutual funds seem to be playing this hide and seek game by rotating money into non-tech sectors and feeling temporary safety there. However, with the slowing economy on the horizon and current valuations, I doubt stocks will be a safe heaven for anyone. It may take a while to see many new era mutual funds getting into trouble but until that happens and people lose interest in owning stocks this downturn may not get over. After all we have 9000 mutual funds for 8000 stocks and some folks may argue the need of so many anyways :-)
