averagejoe: I said this: The author of that essay (Mccabe) was a world famous writer that was tireless in his efforts to expose the atrocities and dangers of organized religion. His voice is certainly part of the record when it comes to a discussion of God, and that is why he exists on this thread. And your comment on it is this: "If you think Solon does not worship the enraged old pig McCabe, witness this..." (referencing the above paragraph). I think your comment is foolish and out of line. There is no possible way my comment can be construed as "worship." And this man has been dead for many years. He isn't, and he wasn't: "an old pig" Where does all that irrational hostility come from? Maybe you ought to take a calm look at yourself... As for this cowardly comment: "Solon, most likely, is the grand-Prostrate of his local lodge", I suggest you buy a dictionary, first; And then see a priest. This hostility is wanton and unwarranted. You need to get out and about...
