Judge Sauls will halt his proceeding until the FSC gives him guidance.

Joe, you can read the actual decision at frwebgate.access.gpo.gov . If Jeb thought the Florida SC decision was written in legalese, he's not going to like this one any better, on that count anyway.

What it actually says, in the end, is

The judgement of the Supreme Court of Florida is therefore vacated, and the case is remanded for further proceedings not inconsistent with this opinion.

The SC opinion is itself a bit obscure, the main objection apparently being that the Florida SC was unclear in their decision. Offhand, I'd say "not inconsistent" part leaves room for further action. As the Florida SC decision is somewhat moot at this point, with their deadline past and no change in the result, the Florida SC has to do something one way or the other anyway, to make any difference.
