OT., Carl I'm not a lawyer, but it seems they overturned the Florida SC decision to overrule the florida legislature's original date for certification because they could find no legal basis for the florida SC's ruling. The language was polite legalese, (vacate) and asking the florida SC to reconsider their decision. But you are right, Gore can choose to ignore this setback, and soldier on, waiting for those Seminole county ballots to perhaps be eliminated. In the meantime, perhaps the democratic solidarity may crack a little here. The US SC is still widely respected by almost all americans, right? SbH
