I would defer to anyone who really knows what they are talking about, but it looks like Rambus is going to have some "issues" if they proceed against Intel.

Chipsets are not the issue in this announcement.

R has licensed bus technology to intel. Now they seem to be saying that Intel can't use this to talk to chipsets produced by others using DDR and RDR IF those others are not licensed by Rambus.

I dooone theeen so. :))
