Excellent points, Mike.

Suspect that when the full details of the TXN deal are digested, as far as today's news goes, it is far more significant long-term than the reiteration of the China MoU, which is old news (but I guess Mr. Market continues his well-founded skepticism of things Chinese).

The PR didn't say, but why would QClassic need a x-license with TI?

Mike, one must consider with the Gorilla Game strategy playing this technology adoption life cycle just why NOW this MOU is signed,,,,anything to do with the AWE//NTT deal?
We all are aware that the competing standard (GSM to GPRS to EDGE) is NOT in favor of China's adoption of CDMA...eh?
Could this move by AWE//NTT be the precipitating factor in the timeliness of this announcement? Once China has begun to roll along this path (they already have, they were just holding back for bigger opportunities perhaps) they MUST protect their investment, and by signing this MOU at this time they are telling the world that Regardless of what AWE is doing, China is going CDMA...dig?
