I agree, except that most buybacks are usually of the variety which don't take a considerable % of stock off the table (assuming it IS taken), having little appreciable effect on psyche or price.
This one is considerable, potentially over 2% of the outstanding shares, at a time when other tech stocks are reeling. Should be a considerable show of confidence.
That's quite a bite....IF they actually do implement the program.

No doubt you're right, but the share buy-back announcement is only the latest in a long line of positives relating to this stock. I certainly don't need to list them here.

I suppose I can only echo what you have written yourself - who is selling at these levels? Who sold at $18.20 last week?
