I will say I think there's too much concern about the so-called "undermining" of the Bush presidency. Anyone who watched the Nazi-like 3-man hit squad spend an ENTIRE congressional term attempting to destroy Newt Gingrich for the unacceptable offense of beating Democrats in an election knows that any and all attempts to undermine Bush would be made even if he had gotten 90% of the vote and carried 50 states.

Anyone who thinks the establishment media won't attempt to undermine Bush as well has managed to grow up in America without ever watching television or reading a newspaper.

Bush filed for president as someone who was not a left-wing Democrat. That sealed his ultimate fate, as far as the media and the Clinton/Gore Nazis were concerned. In the light of that, what more could they possibly do?

And if he hasn't been ready for it for at least the last two years, I'd be very surprised.
