Good fraternity story

When I entered Indiana University in 1968 I witnessed one of the most amazing occurrences in Olympic history. I thought about pledging Phi Delta Theta, a beautiful house with many wonderful guys. Seriously.

Well, in the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games, made famous by Tommie Smith and John Carlos, the United States and the Soviet Union won the most gold medals. Who finished third? The Phi Delta Theta house at Indiana University. The swimmers in that house won over 20 gold medals in those games. Honestly! True story. Incredible!
