The problem with your analysis is the phrase "market darling."

As we now know, the mania does have darlings for a while but the market is fickle and can change the focus of its affections in a millisecond.

That is no basis for a valuation.

Did you notice that CNXT has gross margins that are 15% lower than the rest? Have you ever wondered why even though they have their own fabs and PMCS et al do not? Did you also notice that multi-service access is the bulk of revenues? Do you know what this is ( Hint: think modems! )? Can you guess what the "growth" would be minus acquisitions and multiservice access to make it comparable to PMCS? Can you give examples of CNXT design ins for OC-12c/OC-48c/OC-192c for TIA,LDD,CDR,SERDES,Framer,Classification and lookup,fabrics? If not do you understand why you cannot? After all these questions do you now understand why CNXT is not AMCC/PMCS/VTSS?
