this case reminds me of a great case i had. when i got the case, the lawyer bringing it to me said it was the best case a lawyer could have. i asked why. he said because it won't be settled. i was and am a solo practitioner. i was in a big case with a lot of big firms. the case went on for years. whatever the judge did was appealed. there were about 20 undecided motions stacked up for him to decide- some over a year old. I made a list of them and in my argument on the motion on before the judge that day, I enumerated the motions which were sub judice. The New York City judge immediately decided to transfer the entire case to Philadelphia.
