Of course they don't propose 80% tax rates. But that is the logical consequence of following their policy of fighting all meaningful SS reform.

If the people who pay taxes 20 years from now object to having 80% of their income confiscated and turned over to their elders, then they can simple elect people to change the rules.

In fact I believe that is what will happen. That is why I am not planning on any SS money for my retirement.
