therein lies the rub... you can't even see it until ur name comes up on their "special list" yep, definite CYA. there was one question I didn't know the format they wanted their answer... took me 3 tries to enter it in right (I knew the answer however :-)

I know I cannot use it, but I would like to see it. on some of my errands I stopped by one of my trader friends who has an account with IB as I thought his username was in the lower part of the alphabet ... sure enough, he could pull up the download info, whereas I couldn't see it on my screen ... but he is rather paranoid and has a single/specific machine with NO other programs/accounts/data/ and I mean NONE of NOTHING loaded on able to run and has it on a single dedicated line with an unlisted number ..... he'd downloaded the Java dealie last night but hadn't even loaded anything onto the box to trade with ... he invited me over on Wed night to take a looksee at the screen and stuff .... hope I get back into town as I have short trip planned on Wed to pick up some windows and sheetrock for my planned remod office ....
