Humble One,

I finally got burned by the margin griddle (couldn't keep my feet moving faster than INTC stock was falling). I had to take an early distribution from my IRA of $140K to cover and avoid selling at these levels. The tax bill will really hurt but I am hoping my good friend Mr. Greenspan will provide some liquidity to the system sooooon in order to at least put a floor under the stock. I don't expect INTC profits to be strong enough to convince institutional money to get back in until Q2 when the P4 is really starting to ramp.

The analysts have everyone so scared about INTC's business that it can't even hold 34 today. Even Peckerhead has said things will be better in 2H 2001 yet he still says "sell this thing now". Rational valuation models just don't work in the real world, it's all about emotion.

Keep those feet moving!

Oh, Piously Humble One,
Yesterday you answered a question about people selling Intel at these bargain prices in the following manner:

<<It's guys like me dancing around on the "hot margin griddle". Haven't sold anything yet. Picture me like the Marimba baby dancing away. >>

Today on behalf of The Church of Intel I have offered up praises to Circuit Judge N. Sanders Sauls, who saved my a$$ and that of many others.

My Portfolio is up 30% today, from the perilously low of yesterday. I am going to get Sauls' picture and frame it! He's became one of my many Guardian Angels. Thanks Judge!...humble carl
