No one can predict how it will come out legally BUT practically speaking Gore is dead. The litigation will not be settled by Dec. 12 and so the counts will never take place by the 12th. The FL legislature will intervene and Bush will win anyway. Bye-bye Whopper Al. JLA

I wonder, do you suppose that Clarence Thomas even understands what the Supreme Court did today?

I was right the first time. There was no final certification until Nov 26. You can read the facts in the Supreme Court opinion at msnbc.com
The Secty of State was enjoined from a final certification until Nov. 26. All recounts that occured prior to Nov 26 are de jure. Those recounts are valid evidence in the contest trial. The margin for burden of proof is 537, not 930.

The FL SC spokesman just read a statement and used the words "the US Supreme Court reversed the decision..."

Looks like you're wromg on ALL counts so far.
