The thermal problem with this unit is even worse than the original Gigamine, since to dissipates an extra 3 watts but still needs to keep Tj at 70C or lower.

Good catch on the 1.76 volts. It sure seems to be that they are squeezing the last drop of blood out of those poor babies :)

Re: 70deg C temp, is this something new. I seem to remember a figure of 62deg C? Was that for the (now recalled)1.13?

I thought that was also applicable for the 1G's?

Can you clarify that one?
