Heh, I am trying to quit SI. A little red 1...I...cannot...resist... The bear story? Wasn't the patent office supposed to be coming out with something soon--all those EST patents are probably not worth much. Still, everything is a bear story of late, and the lousy market has built in a discount to the price of INCY. Heh, I could be an analyst, said nothing! If you've seen many of my posts, I have a hankering for things with big upside---but I'm not afraid of the risk that a few of my third tier biotechs may go to zero. And Incyte is not at all like the rest of the nasty bits in my portfolio I would love to see it in the teens again someday, I'd buy a batch of calls, or leaps! Of course the big refunding means they've some good competition now, GLGC, CRGN--lots of money out there. My guess is a lot of it is spent and wasted right? So we need to watch some of the smaller outfits like Rosetta. So many little companies now, I guess that is why, again, I am trending toward putting blinders on and letting my goofy third tier/we got left out this year stocks sit awhile. One of the biotechies here on SI has listed as his favorites, some of which are SEPR, VRTX, TKTX, MLNM, ALKS, CELG. Wow, it is hard to make up any one liner criticisms for most of those--and Incyte, imho, is a candidate for a that quality first tier biotech list too. I cannot explain why I own it when there is so much that looks like crap in my account.
