IF they throw out approx 15,000 voters because of a technicallity on the APPLICATIONS they will dis-enfranchise a lot of people who did nothing wrong Society (read lawyers - they are everywhere in your life) has disenfranchised most all of the good samaritans. What have we or the courts done about that? The courts may see that (throwing out all absentee votes) as the best solution. My bet is that they will let the votes count. You may be right - or wrong. i stopped second guessing the courts. thot for sure US SC would not interfere with FL SC judgement. But they did even tho they specifically stated that they do not like to do so.

To all the OT election posters: You can all quit now. It's over. For better or worse, with happiness or anger, with confusion and chaos, it's over. Bush won. The Florida Sec. of State said so. The court cases will not be decided, and all appeals exhausted, until sometime in 2007. And if the courts do throw the Sec. of State's decision into question in the next few days, then the Florida legislature has made it clear they intend on creating Bush Electors. And if that doesn't work, then the U.S. House Of Representatives gets to decide, and the Republicans have a (small) majority there, too. So, Bush has a backup plan to the backup plan. It's over. You can all quit perseverating and repeating yourselves and saying the same things over and over and over and....... STOP!
