You asked This seems huge for Nortel....I can´t understand why the stock price is not reflecting it? The answer is simply that in a "bear market" positive news gets ignored quickly no matter how good it may be; and the slightest bit of bad news or perceived negative news gets amplified many times over, and repeated for many days . Of course the reverse is true in a "bull market". NC.

AT&T contract:.." why the stock price is not reflecting it." IMHO the big institutions want to keep NT down until 12/31 to shake off all the retail investors during tax loss selling time. I am very comfortable with NT.One of top holdings with JDSU SDLI GLW PMCS . In Jan. '01 it will fly IMHO .....( if not sooner..)
