AG started raising rates in June 1999. 18 months ago. The Nasdaq went on to new highs for 9 months.
But really, my point is that markets are cyclical. Seeds get sewn many years prior. Clinton taking credit for the stock market run up is just a silly as him taking no credit for it running down.
OTOH, him signing the biggest targeted tax cut in history made it very difficult for AG to fine tune the economy.
AG was too slow on the trigger if anything. AG has to play the hand dealt to him by Congress and President too...

Circuit Court Judge Sauls will rule on the election contest at 4:30. I've got a feeling your man Gore is going to be history before the week is out.
