Corporate Credit Rating: BBB+/Stable

NEW YORK, Dec 4 - Sun Microsystems Inc. today announced that it will acquire HighGround Systems Inc. in a stock-for-stock transaction valued at about $400 million.

The acquisition should enhance Sun Microsystems's position in the open systems storage network market.

This transaction will not have any impact on Standard & Poor's rating or outlook on Sun Microsystems.

Standard & Poor's rating has incorporated the assumption that Sun Microsystems will continue to make moderate-size
acquisitions.

Sun Microsystems is expected to maintain consistent profitability and a strong financial profile.

I don't. My point is the same as yours, double standards based on bias. My other point was we are having a proper election battle which requires cunning and quick thinking, rather than just slagging off the oponent. The public may enjoy mudslinging but one must mind one's manners in court and hopefully judges are not easily deceived by BS.
