EMC appears to be ready to test overhead resistance at 80 (formerly support). Product launch or no, it is weakening as it approaches 80, as you can see from the diminishing volume.

On the daily chart, there are still technical buy signals present, but the weakening suggested by the volume diminution as EMC moves towards 80 is confirmed in the intraday (15-minute) technical indicators, which now show Williams %R, stochastic, and OBV sell signals, with MACD confirmation imminent:

IMHO, EMC has already begun to fail at this test. Most likely, this failure will continue into tomorrow. I don't see that the news announcement will significantly change things, as this is no secret and no surprise, therefore in all likelihood already discounted.
