Thanks Keith.
I think the reference in DSL to copper lines is what threw me off. For some reason in my mind, I pictured this as "cable" all along and for some unknown reason didn't connect it to telephone. Duh! Live and learn
Regards
C

Schwab and Quotetracker

Dear Keith,
I am a Schwab client and am interested in giving daytrading a try. I have been using Quotetracker to watch QQQ and other indices. Since Quotetracker now has integrated trading with Datek, and Jerry (developer of QT) wants to integrate QT with other Brokerage houses, I called Schwab to see if they were interested in talking to Jerry (they already are integrated with PCQuote, but it is prohibitively expensive and even Schwab doesn't recomend it). The upper brass said they were not interested. Possible reason: they are developing their own platform. I find this very hard to understand. As far as I know, hooking into QT would cost them nothing, and would make available to their clients a superb platform for day and swing and other trading. This would mean more commissions, and possibly new clients. If you or anyone else reading this agree, is there any chance we could get them to change their mind, by perhaps having clients or prospective clients call them. You should talk to Jeremy Livingston at Schwab (jeremy.livingston@schwabcanada.com).
