What do the Seminole and Martin suits prove now except to possibly convince more people as Gore has already tried that Bush's victory is illegitimate? Is that good for the country?

You are the ultimate in sore losers. Your guy lost so you propose to trash the victor and screw the whole country. Pitiful indeed. If Gore is a real patriot he'll concede and urge his supporters to get behind Bush now.

I agree that it looks like it is over. I would say Gore's best course is to concede and withdraw further action. I think the appeal of this decision is a loser.

I also think that discounting absentee votes for those procedural issues, however feloniously garnered, is not likely to go anywhere that could change the result. (Not that jail time for the Republican operatives and county workers wouldn't be out of the question.)

So Gore's best course would be to concede.
