LOL!! You "know" he won Florida? How is that consistent with your statement that he did not get the count he deserved? What do the Seminole and Martin suits prove now except to possibly convince more people as Gore has already tried that Bush's victory is illegitimate? Is that good for the country? I agree that it looks like it is over. I would say Gore's best course is to concede and withdraw further action. I think the appeal of this decision is a loser. I also think that discounting absentee votes for those procedural issues, however feloniously garnered, is not likely to go anywhere that could change the result. (Not that jail time for the Republican operatives and county workers wouldn't be out of the question.) So Gore's best course would be to concede.
