Joshua: Would you admit that a free-market system is a precarious structure if the asset values and of an entire economy are dependent on 'investor psychology', 'automated programmed trading by Institutions based on media manipulation & TA' and an interventional monetary policy that functions with a 'rear view mirror' ?

What sustains an economy is not just productivity but the perception that productivity results in net financial gain.

When trillions$ are evaporated from net worths in an economy that thrives on leveraged debt, at what point must one say, this is not a good system and perhaps there may be a better way of doing things?

I'm not implying a different ideology but an overhaul of our financial system and the means but which investment vehicles are subject to speculation.
