Look's like ~15M RDRAM's will ship this quarter. I suspect that means <50M for the year.

Based on the report, I'd guess you're pretty close.

So if we take out ~2M for Playstations (probably too high), it looks like about 6M 8-chip RIMMs. Or probably 3M to 4M systems (assuming some RIMMs are in the channel, and most systems have multiple RIMMs [workstations using the 840]). How many systems shipped this year? Dividing by that will give unit market share. Multiply unit market share by roughly 3x to 4x (the average cost multiplier on RDRAM chips for the year) to get $ market share.

Sound about right?
