Hi Michael D. Burke; Back in the good old days, I bet a lot of horses suddenly got healthier when they realized they were near the vet, (or the rendering plant).

By the way, just finished the novel "Winter's Tale" by Mark Helprin, the somewhat conservative novelist who was the early speech writer for Dole some time back. Wonderful story, but "Memoir From Antproof Case" is definitely his best.

Michael, you seem to be backing away from FMO a bit, which has got me wondering if your over-all assessment of the credit markets hasn't taken a change for the worse? <g>

If the telcos manage to take down a few banks, co's with serious debt are toast in the ensuing liquidity crisis, no longer specs but goners ... something like that?
