wondering how fast this wraps up

At a guess, as slowly as the Democrats can make it. Payback time for the Clinton impeachment, general purpose weakening of the upcoming Republican administration, prepping for 2002 and 2004 elections ("We was robbed!").

Figure the Democrats have written off Gore for all future purposes, he wasn't able to win here. So now they use him as a strawman, a front man soaking up all the bad PR.

Well, two days without a new NASDAQ low, that's an improvement over recent memory, anyway <g>.

jw....fsc/ussc/judge saul.....

all the fsc has to do is to affirm saul's decision.....if it does so, then it need not respond to the ussc....

a way for the parties to finesse their way out of an untenable position....

the ussc did not act in a vacuum.......
