It scares me that people accept any politician's qualities. Gore is no better or worse than Bush. He's just different. They are still ilk of the worst kind. As PJ O'Rourke says, I prefer Republicans to Democrats because the Republicans take the money right from you, rather than having the IRS do it. And at least they make a buck in the process. I have to agree. I've met a few, but only a few, Dems who understand there is NOTHING that the government has done well, easily, or even rationally. Government is a DRAG on the economy, which is why I laugh every time I hear a politician (notice I didn't say dem or rep) talk about using tax dollars to INVEST in the economy. IT CAN'T HAPPEN. So, I think that should give everyone who don't like Bush something to think about. It should also give those of us who prefer Bush some pause.
