Scumbria, <I have always thought of that Black Knight as being the model of ultimate toughness.>

Truly you have a dizzying intellect.

<Unlike the knight, Gore will be back.>

Doing what? Managing Hillary's 2004 campaign?

P.S. - MPR (11/20/00) has a nice editorial by Steve Leibson entitled "Steal This Election!" He, like you, is arguing for Internet voting. However, he puts forth this interesting caveat:

It's true that Internet voting would potentially make elections more vulnerable to massive fraud. (It's human to screw things up. To really screw them up takes a computer.)

So then your heroes are the limbless knight in Monty Python, Jerry Sanders and Al Gore. Interesting.

You need to be politically alive to be able to fight another day (tough or not). That is how continuing to fight past a certain point is disadvantageous. What this board is trying to say is that that point is likely different for Gore vs the rest of the Democratic party. You can bet that there is continuous polling going on at this time in order to make sure that when that point is reached, the Democrats +/- Gore will quit.

Apparent;y that time has not arrived yet, but published polls show that it is coming (in terms of approval ratings).
