Please forgive me for being obtuse but if this list(Hot people) is so important to si and its members shouldn't the access be via the front page somewhere ?

(personally I'd like the resources put toward fixing the hot list so that a 17 post thread doesn't qualify ex 'Hidden value stocks')

edit : Well I am being obtuse, you mean a mass pm(probably). I still prefer a link via home page because that way people like me who don't care about this list won't be spamed. Mass pm's should be for systemwide notices (like system status and bug reports etc) and not popularity contests IMO.

Why not have a chart to see how hot people are on a minute by minute basis?

Kinda like an INDEX chart, you can follow their popularity in realtime.

We need the hot people, there would be no SI without them.

Well, I have to go and worship my stock guru, and afterwards I have to flame people who don't like my guru. Going to be a long day.
