Thank you, sir....

Lots of stuff on there that I haven't heard.... that's the beauty of this technology, though.... I have this feeling I am about to embark on a wonderful journey of discovery.

Thanks again, and feel free to stop by anytime with more lists or songs or lyrics or whatever.....

Mr. Mark,

You posted for us all a 25-track Dylan compilation about six weeks ago. The holidays intervened, and it took me awhile for me to get my paws on the stuff I didn't already have.

I must say that at first I was surprised by your list, for it contained very few of the songs that first come to mind when I think (thought) of Bob Dylan. Then I got all the tracks, and burned the CD's.....the first 13 tracks fit on one CD, the last 12 on the other, and there was enough room for me to add a personal favorite (Not Dark Yet) to the second CD as a bonus track.

I listen to music primarily in the car during my commute. I wanted you to know that this past week or so, as I drive the 15-20 miles to work every day, I have been coasting up to stoplights, hoping the green will turn to red....hoping that trains will stall at the crossings.....and basically doing anything to prolong my listening pleasure. This is just a great, great collection......from start to finish.....full of songs I had never really paid attention to but now are imprinted in my mind.

This is just the sort of collection that a CD Burner makes possible......for while some commercially available Dylan compilations, such as The Essential Bob Dylan, are quite good, everybody has personal favorites, lyrics that mean more to them than the next person, songs with a sound they just can't let go of.....and your collection, to me, is better than any of the commercially available Dylan collections out there.

Thanks again for stopping by, and please feel free to post other playlists or anything else, anytime.
