Cubans are the only Hispanic group mostly Republican......it goes back to the GOP's historic hostility to Communism and Castro...........for better or worse ; politicians with Cuban approval can only exist if they are virulent anti-Castro; they must support the continued boycott of CUBA

Cubans know what it like to live under a socialistic approach. It's one thing to read about it, quite another to have no opportunity, no capitalism, no chance to advance oneself, govenment control of everything, hence economic hell. I only wish boys like Jerome and Cary could experience what they wish for first-hand. But, hey, Gore is toast, we won't have to see his and Lieberman's grating mugs much longer, so maybe Baldwin and Streisand will put together a going away trip for other great thinkers like themselves and they can catch a ride. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.
