I do not love films. I think they are mostly either propaganda or marketing material. But I think Exorsist III was a very fine adaption of one of the greatest novelists of the entire history of the world's best novel, "Legion". It is the 3rd in a trilogy, and possibly a new one could come out.

Also, I like Steven King's "The Gunslinger" series.

Neocon,

I look forward to some good film discussion in the future. Always looking for some insight, and a heads-up on a few I might have missed.

Looking forward to, "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". I remember this line from Preston Sturges "Sullivan's Travels" and have always liked the insane Coen brothers. Fargo was an incredible movie, and as usual so was William Macy's performance. Also "Sullivan's Travels" had Veronica Lake, who was a babe way ahead of her time, IMO.

Also looking forward to this generations version of Jimmy Stewart, aka Tom Hanks, in Castaway.

The new movie from the director of "Cinema Paradiso, Giuseppe Tornatore already came out on November 22. It is called "Malena" and is about a widow in a Sicilian village. I have to find time for that one soon.
