Earnings are Thursday, and if CIEN disappoints (as I think they will) Based on what ? And if CIEN disappoints what do you think will happen with the whole fiber optics sector?? I don't see much upside risk, given the resistance at 87 It already hit 87 after market. Are'nt you scared of the fact that Bush may be declared winner before the week is out? BTW. People will attribute it to earnings if this works out as I think, but IMHO CIEN would fail at this test even if there were no earnings report, because it is clear that there is not sufficient buying pressure to support upside momentum Todays volume was 12 M + with CIEN up 3 1/4. And it was further up 7 after markte closed. Are you suggesting that the 12M+ volume was big boys liquidating? Then who was purchasing?? Thanks for bringing this to our attention. i now have it in my scope and will follow it closely till 12/7.
