CLARIFICATION: There are lots of newbies to this thread as I can see by the PM's that have increased fourfold. MCDT, ONIS and CORV were INTRADAY short plays. Short plays were closed (except a put in ONIS puts as a possible hedge if market retreats). Our strategy now is to be short ONLY AS DAYTRADES because of our oversold situation. MCDT was a Market Gems Watch List "short play" but at the 1:45 it finished being a short and afterwards it broke out right before the 2:00 reversal period after the doldrums.

I can do my best to try to restate our strategies on the fly, but poster must realize that we are trying to work a premium service with a 'free' service and we do the best we can under the obvious restrictions. We don't feel because Market Gems is a pay service that posts have to be just promotionals for our service without offering enough 'beef' for our loyal threaders of nearly 4 years come March to enjoy and stay tuned to the thread. We have lots of important news and stock analyses, custom charts that we will share with threaders. I will restate some of the strategies as best I can.

Right now suffice it to be we post a limited number of 'trading room' calls a little later for threaders, but hopefully they can make use of the triggers for possible later day rally. Secondly we post coded alerts for our Market Gems Watch List and Earnings Plays Newsletter Subscribers (who are not part of our trading room subscribers) who also need timely intraday updates as part of the service.

Thirdly, we post weekend updates and possible stocks of interest during the trading session for Gemmers that are used to our techno-fundamental strategy of trading. We do that as well in the pre-market upgrades/downgrades which can be of help to every Gemmer. I'm up a good part of the night so I can tune into the Pacific Rim with a hot line to BBC finance (my son lives in England) so I have a strong connection to the pulse of the market. Please read our articles in the preamble to this thread to get a better idea of our focus here.
