We have been trying to stem the flow of Californicators for years, and now you want to stick them in a country with us? We will take to the streets with bumbershoots and Birkenstocks before we allow that to happen. As soon as we finish our Lattes. The alternative -- just set California adrift, give Manhattan back to the Indians, and turn DC back into a swamp and let all the buildings and bureaucrats in them get sucked under, and the rest of the country may have a chance to return to standards of decency and integrity.
