I do not understand why the Dems keep asking why Bush didn't take Gore's offer for a full state recount. We know why - it wasn't Gore's to offer! Gore had no legal standing in Florida - it was pure Democratic spin, as usual.

They will be counted and the true result will be known. And whose definition of "true" will the public agree to? Any post-election changes will be seen as nothing but a political ploy, since the definition of what is a valid vote is in dispute, much less the condition of the ballots at the date when they are counted in the future. DWB

I am very sincere when I say I would not want to be in Bush's shoes when all the ballots DO get counted under the Freedom of Information Act. They will be counted and the true result will be known. He best pray the tally is in his favor. Really, just how is that going to happen? You counting dimples or just removed chads? You counting scratches? What will be your standard to divine a vote? Will Jesse Jackson get to count? The true results are already in. Removed chads. You know, what was in the voter instruction. To make sure the chad was removed or the vote would not count. You forget that part? There will also be Bush supporters that will count them after the election also. And guess what. Bush will win their count as Gore will win his supporters count. In the end nothing will be proved either way. So find a new chant. You need one.
