PartyTime, election offices are seeing unprecedented numbers of people switching from democrat to republican now. Are you considering a switch? The democrat party has abandoned the working person and nearly everyone excepting fringe groups.

The best thing to happen is that a compassionate conservative will be selecting (probably) the next three Supreme Court Justices. Bush's Presidency will be a great success as compared to Gore's, on that measurement alone.

The GOP is looking like the party with principal on it's side. If you like your party to look like a whining, backstabbing poor sports, then you are correct this was a good thing for your party. Your whole premise that started this conversation was in regards to wanting to hurt GWB's presidency. When (not if) the demos do that you will see that GWB is not as dumb as you think he is. He will be able to demonstrate to the American people WHY the issues are not going through. That will hurt you guys. Kind of creepy that you bad mouth his integrity, yet your strategy is to trash him. That means you have NO integrity, and many in the demo party share your negative views.
