gao, if what you are saying is that the democratic representatives are freed from the burden of the Clinton/Gore administration and that they can now vote along with their views rather than those imposed on them, then perhaps you are right and Gridlock will be avoided when crucial issues are being decided. I have to say that the show of solidarity behind Gore by numerous prominent democrats over the past 9 days has been disheartening. some may be committing political suicide. tp
