Scumbria... "There are tens of thousands of Russian Jews in California. The State of California puts them up for free. I know a couple who were working very hard to pay their bloated SV rent, and hardly ever saw their children. Then they discovered they could make just as much money being unemployed." Why would California "put them up for free"? Is this some part of a federal program? What am I missing? I don't like anybody, or group taking advantage of the system. It is important to me that the taxes people pay are used in a proper and beneficial manner. Keeping people out of the work force and housing them does not fall within my definition.

Scumbria, sad to say but it is over. That was an absurd ruling yesterday but I do not see it being changed. A ruling in the other case to throw out 14,000 absentee ballots because there was fraud on 5,000 of them is not right either. I would like fraud charges brought against those who perpetrated this injustice, but I just do not see how you can not count the ballots. I believe these ballots must be counted just as I believe all ballots should have been counted. Gore has had this election stolen from him and it is probably best if he concede now. What a crooked, political process for the whole world to see. He should concede but publically call Bush and his people the thieves that they are. Perhaps congratulate Bush for a stolen election, where all the votes were not counted. Bush will get his just rewards in the history books IMHO but this crooked election does seem to be over.
