Don, just so you know, I wasn't trying to get smart, I just thought that point deserved to be emphasized. It was you who first made me aware of the significance of higher/lower highs and lows, and in fact you're the only poster on SI that I know of who refers to them regularly (surprising considering they're a basic part of Dow theory). I think it's a great way to look at trends because it is more flexible than linear trends or formations, and yet it is also more objective.
