without dual liability for the MM's via Selectnet, and MM's that don't even have to respond... Well this is what I want. I do not want a "response"... I want to be able to TAKE or HIT what they are showing without any form of manual approval on the part of the MM. So what if they are not liable for the 100 shares anymore. I rather pound the 1000 being shown. and not having the optional ability now to even go out of mkt for trades via selecnet... This is a valid point. Though when I usually go outside the inside it is usually to an ecn and that will not change. not to mention institutions being able to load and unload large positions before the little guy even has a shot at a execution due to the first come first serve.... This is the funniest joke I have been hearing around SI. What make anyone think that institutions are suddenly going to be selling (buying) through direct access and using SOES market orders on top of that. The big deals will still be done on the phone as always and through SNET in some cases. i see the volitility gettign even worse in the NASDAQ Worse or Better. Volatility is good. i am not to optimistic about this whole Supermontage Neither am I. To paraphrase... I think the best of the quick guns will get even better due to more initial liquidity but the people with to many indicators and slow intuition will get wacked worse than ever under the new SOES due to the longer single file line forming to get in or out of the stock....
