mr mark, this was copied by right clicking in Netscape 6.

>In the 1960s, punched-card batch-processing mainframes were defended by IBM and the BUNCH (Burroughs, Univac, NCR, Control Data, and Honeywell). I joined the encircling crusaders: Digital Equipment, Data General, and Scientific Data Systems. Our siege machines were interactive time-shared minicomputers.<

But I found another Netscape 6 flaw: I cannot paste an URL into the address box by right click-paste. When I right click in the address box, no pulldown appears. Had to use EDIT>PASTE. That's on top of not highlighting the URL with ONE click - as in IE5.5.

Sad. I used to like Netscape when it was the overdog.

Hope win2000 is still solid. Winme update...purring like a kitten. Shutdown issue cured with a downloaded patch. Uninstalled aol 5 and loaded 6. Used most of the standard 98 tweaks (stack 0,0 ,mtu settings,etc.). Swap file was set very low by windows and norton showed from 70 to 90% usage when doing very little? System doesn't seem quite as quick as 98se but it's a nice machine. LOL...PCPitstop told me so. Haven't installed ZoneAlarm yet. I don't think my pupils are up to making choices yet.

tc :-)
ps: I hate dialup...trial Norton 2001 took four hours to download.
