Bush will be forced by the circumstances to make concessions to the Democratic leaders in the House and Congress. That's good for you.

Dear Ellen: I am curious, just why do you fear a Bush Presidency? You have been polite in your remarks so I know that you speak from your heart, so I am interested in hearing what you fear.
In the beginning I merely thought that in this point of our history, with the previous contentions in Congress that Bush would be a calming influence in our Government as opposed to Gore whom I had heard was very combative even as a Senator and really wasnt thought much of in the Senate. After witnessing what he has done to this country in the past two weeks now I am FIRMLY convinced that had Gore won we would have 4 very dangerous years of constant fighting as he is not a consensus seeker but really, in his heart, I think a Dictator. So now I believe that ONLY BUSH could possibly heal the wounds of our political parties. JDN

I do fear a Bush administration, so am not happy to be approaching that.

So does the news media. Their boys are out.
