What I'm attempting to do is find a scenario the FL SC may use to maintain their ruling. They stretch the deadline for the cert on the basis there was time at the back end. Recent events have Gore screaming about not having enough time. A problem the FL SC created. This suggests the legilature knew what it was doing in the first place. What I wonder is has Boies retracted the Illinios nonsense? I see how he might be unwelcome in the FL SC. Try to figure how they are going to justify the changing of the rules in midstream. That's the hard part. Still in all, I still think the most important effect is the chill it puts on anyone in the lower courts wanting to take exessive liberty with the law.
