I was being facetious, of course. Having once been a registered Democrat and a member of the I.A.T.S.E., I learned all about union "persuasion" 25 years ago. The day I realized that the whole thing was a gigantic scam and I had been duped, I quit the union. I'm sure they have honed their craft since then, and their craft was pretty crafty back then. Those dudes were the scariest dudes I have ever met, and I've met some very scary dudes. They have no sense of humor, and they only grin when they see pain. The ironic part of all this is that the underhanded tactics which have been perfected by the more nefarious members of the political family will be under closer scrutiny now. That's probably the only good thing that Al has accomplished.
