Sadly letting the criminals reform the electoral process is much like allowing politicians to reform campaign finance. Impeach Algore for not upholding the US Constitution.

Good test of anyone calling himself a "reformer" will be if they jump on the anti-vote fraud [need a catchier phrase] bandwagon. Probably like all real change it'll have to be driven from below. Haven't heard a peep out of McCain on the matter, nor any pol. for that matter. and produce an irresistible tide leading to enactment of the reforms they fear - for good reason - so much.
