Greenie speaks in 40 mins, mkt seems to be holding it's own. I don't expect anything out of him today, but many may be getting their hopes up that he will mention rate cuts. If we retreat after the speech, no cut news, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Of course if he says something cutting it will be just as interesting :)

Nobody trusts any rally till the opening gap in the spooz is resolved...like the bottom of the fall correction of 86 the market went up very slowly and eradicly for weeks...and kept everybody very cautious...the 1st wave out of a hole is always sloppy...after the big crash of 87 the bear market label which was pinned to the market wihin hours of the bottom stuck to it for over a year as the market started up...this ones no different....the shake out of 98 produced a monster advance this one should be even bigger....
